It has been a while

So I haven't written much in a while but I guess I had to get over my frustrations. I don't wish to rant but her it goes.

Is it just me or have Republicans and Conservatives here in America thrown away some (if not all of) their principles in the name of electability. John McCain is an honerable man who sticks to sticks to his guns and with him you know exactally what your getting. But what about Mike Huckabee? Mike was the conservative candidate. He had strong morals and ideas that were true to the Republican party, but he wasn't chosen. Why? Because he wasn't "electable". He was the nice guy that people liked but many said he just wasn't "electable". Now that doesn't make sense. If all those people that said he wasn't electable would have gone for him, he would have been the one chosen. But instead the people decided to put their morals and beliefs aside for electability. Elections aren't about winning, they are about standing for what you believe in and not wavering. Unfortunately that didn't happen. What a shame.

Duncan Endorses and Trucks for Huck

Duncan Hunter, a republican from California and former runner for the GOP nomination, has decided to endorse Gov. Mike Huckabee. Mr. Hunter cited specific issues like National Defense, a border fence, and protecting our industrial base from China as his reasons for endorsing Mike. He also points out Mike's outstanding character and integrity as reasons for giving Mike his support. While many are downplaying the potential effects of this endorsement, it is clear that Duncan Hunter is a respected conservative whose opinion is not taken lightly. Way to go HUCK!!!

Also, a strong supporter of the Huckabee campaign, Randy Bishop, is leading a campaign called Trucks for Huck. This campaign will involve placing pro Huckabee signs on big rigs to help get the message out. Placing these on our nations semis will be great because it is mobile advertisement that is seen by many. Please check out http://trucksforhuck.blogspot.com for all the information.

One other thing. I just checked out www.hucksarmy.com and it looks good so take a look.

Huckabee Lands Key Endorsements

Both Ray Scott and John Stemberger have recently decided to join in on the Huckaboom.

Ray Scott is a renowned outdoorsman and is the creator of the Bass Masters Classic, Bass Masters Magazine, Numerous television shows, and he founded BASS, the worlds largest fishing club. Like Scott, Mike is quite the outdoorsman, and with Scott's endorsement Mike is sure to bring in a whole new wave of supporters.

John Stemberger is a leader in the Florida conservative movement and was a former Thompson supporter (I guess Fred's attacks on Mike didn't fool Stemberger). He will be co-chairing the Faith and Values Coalition in Florida. Stemberger is highly respected in the Pro-Life and Pro-Family communities and with his endorsement and switch from Thompson to Mike may have just landed the type of endorsement that could seal Mike's nomination.

Romney is getting Desperate

Just a few hours ago the Atlanta Journal-Constitution posted an article revealing the desperation of the Romney Campaign. Romney states that Huckabee has won his last primary and that Mike is "stealing" tactics from John Edwards by playing "the guy for the little person". Romney goes on to say that he will win Michigan and that it in South Carolina it will be a battle between himself and McCain. Apparently Mitt hasn't paid much attention to the polls. If one were to take a peek at what the numbers say they would see that it is Mike Huckabee ahead of Romney in both Michigan and South Carolina. It seems that after a disappointing loss in Iowa and another in New Hampshire that Romney is trying to downplay the situation he is in by minimizing the the Huckabee Campaign and Mike's imminent GOP nomination.

Sorry Mr. Romney but America doesn't want a sore loser. They want a man who can lead. And one other thing: Mike isn't playing "the guy for the little person" but he is in fact BEING the man for every person.
